Bowel Cleanse, Going Raw Food Journal
I did my first Master Cleanse and first Liver Flush before starting this cleanse.

Monday - Day 27 - Day 1 of the bowel cleanse.
I had lots of weird dreams - I am almost used to the cleansings' effect in that area. When I got up I did a SWF even though I had a normal BM. I want to flush out any stones that may be still in my colon. I had my first Psyllium & Benontite (P&B) shake made with apple cider - delicious, so much tastier than epsom salts! Later I had lots of cravings that I satisfied, and I got very full.
32 oz SWF, 128 oz water, P&B shake in 8 oz apple juice, 10 acidophilus caps, 1 B12, 2 malic acid & magnesium, regular meals

Tuesday - Day 28: The P&B shakes are FILLING! I added fresh lemon to this one. I had more cleansing dreams. My body likes raw food better than cooked. I am going to trust my body and lean more in that direction.
Later: Blech! Man, this sucks!![I re checked the recipe recently and found I had it wrong - I was using a full tablespoon of both the bentonite and psyllium - it is only a TEASPOON of psyllium! No wonder I could not drink enough water and was miserable. - I will try these again with the right proportions.] I am totally puffy tummy again, headaches coming and going and I feel cranky and antsy and annoyed! Perhaps I am dumping stuff, but it was alot more comfortable dumping on the MC than this! Going to rethink this step... I might go back to the MC.
Later Still: I am calmer, now. Major and multiple BMs! I realize that I got a bit enthusiastic and added way too many new variables, so I am going to back off and stop all added supplements and just eat good food for the next few days.

Wednesday - Day 29: More major BMS. Finally, I feel normalish again, still having cleansing dreams. I am up 5 pounds with all this eating and the P&B shakes - a net change of 19 pounds, and that is still lovely. I went for a nice hill-climbing walk, too and I am no longer on vampire hours.
2 P&B shakes, 112 oz water, 4 malic acid caps, 20 drops black walnut tincture, regular meals

Thursday - Day 30: Dreams are long, convoluted and kinda haunting. I can feel the tincture reaching the liver. I am settling into the feeling of all this bulk traveling through my midsection, but I feel huge and I am eating past full. It took a few days to relax into the MC, too.
2 P&B shakes, 160 oz water, 4 malic acid caps, regular meals and a double lemonade

Friday - Day 31: No dreams that I remember. I had to get up in the night to poop. Feeling all this bulk in my midsection, I have been eating alot more and have been full all the time for the last few days - not comfortable. I confess I want this whole thing to be over, yet I want all the benefits, so I am often in turmoil. Being patient with myself is the real challenge. I think 2 shakes a day is plenty for me for awhile. Drinking plenty of water seems to smooth out my moods some. The color has been golden brown, large and loose, and it sinks. Today it was darker brown/green a couple times, then back to the golden brown.
2 P& B shakes, 112 oz water, regular meals and a double lemonade

Saturday - Day 32: I am pretty uncomfortable!! I think I need more water than I have been drinking. I have heard there is no such thing as drinking too much water while doing the P&B shakes. This has been pretty miserable for me, I am sure it is because the P&B is not moving out fast enough, Everything is moving, but obviously not fast enough, and my face is broken out all over. I hate how I look and feel. It feels like I am pushing too hard, so I will back off the shakes and let myself eat good raw food for this coming week and do the next liver flush on Saturday. I am getting excited by seeing the Raw food before and afters and from reading their journals.

Sunday - Day 33: Did not sleep great, got up to pee alot. ***I noticed again today that rising is easy now. I may set my alarm but my body always wakes me sooner and if I am still tired signals me go back to bed for a nap. I am effortlessly on daylight hours. I have been a night owl since childhood. I always had a rough time coming awake. I am awake, clear headed and usually pretty cheerful in just a few minutes after waking now. Releasing coffee and the gall stones in the liver flush has been a huge blessing to me. *** Almost noon and I am pooping alot, and have devloped a headache - not the good kind - clamp around the head, nausea kind. I am going to rest. I think whatever I stirred up with the P&Bs is coming out. It took only a half hour for it to pass and then I went for a hike to the health food store. I made a delicious raw salad and that made me feel even better.
128 oz water, 2 huge fuji apples, 1/2 c pumpkin seeds, 12 pecans, 1/2 c raisins, 30 almonds, a mango, spinach, mushrooms, baby carrots, whole avocado, olive oil and lemon dressing

Monday - Day 34: Slept hard, had long dreams. Food tastes wonderful and I feel so much lighter and smaller again - I like that. I am not nearly so thirsty either. I took a photo of my face, shared it with loved ones and I look different even to me. Thoughts of cooked food coming up often today. I am not used to having all this energy to think so much! I feel agitated.
72 oz water, 3 bananas, fuji apple, pomegranite, spinach, 2 avocados, mushrooms, baby carrots, olive oil and lemon juice, 1/2 c raisins, 20 almonds, 1/2 c pumpkin seeds, salad from the salad bar with some canned veggies, double lemonade with cayenne and molasses

Tuesday - Day 35: Wow, I feel great! I worked late, slept well then got up early. I am not puffy anymore and I feel like everything has calmed down. I am cheerful and smiling alot. BMs are still very loose and fall apart in the bowl. Spoke a bit too soon - Migraine Aura, back to bed.
Later - I went hunting online and found someone suggest celery juice - with the idea the migraines and auras are a result of a sodium imbalance. So, I got some, finally and it did help - it took away the nausea right away and I could get back to work. I am delighted by how satisfying the raw meals are.
Later still: The canned food is the culprit of the sodium imbalance and eating it caused me to have the aura - I noticed it in a milder form tonight when I went to bed after the canned food at dinner. I also noticed that I was hungry an hour and a half after dinner - then I had some more veggies, a small totally raw salad and that satisfied for over 4 hours. I get it!! I have gained and held onto all this overweight because I was simply not getting enough good nutrition! Anyway, I got up had more celery, drnak another quart of water, passed most of it and went back to bed.
142 oz water, 3 bananas, double lemonade with cayenne, celery, papaya, big salad with avocado, spinach, carrots, celery, oilive oil and a little bit of canned corn, beans and beets, huge fuji apple

Wednesday - Day 36: I woke up feeling terrific, if still a bit puffy, and got my period without the nasty warning signs, so I am guzzling water today to balance out the rest of the commercial salt in the canned food. It will be totally raw food for me now.
112 oz water, 1/2 tsp ground cloves & 30 drops of black walnut hull tincture in a little water, a pineapple, raw salad with olive oil and vinegar, brazil nuts, 2 avocados, fuji apple, raw salad, pumpkin seeds, 4 malic acid & magnesium caps

Thursday - Day 37: I am back down another pound. I think the cloves, walnut hulls and pineapple did their work flushing out parasites - but I saw nothing unusual in the bowl. I did have a really vivid, horrible nightmare just before awakening. Raw food is alot more stisfying and I am beginning to stop eating a little closer to the first signal from my body that it has had enough. It is not hard to stop as compared with say, carrot cake. There is no drive to continue - as delicious as my food has been. I am eager for the liver flush, I do feel a bit thick, a bit congested in the upper right under my ribs again. I don't like how woozy the balasamic vinegar made me feel, so I read the label carefully - sulfites! Blech! I am giving it away. I will make the dressing with lemon juice instead, that tastes even better, too.
152 oz water, 2 huge fuji apples, double lemonade with cayenne, pumpkin seeds, avocado, raw pico de gallo, tiny pinch of sea salt, 1/2 cucumber, brazil nuts, filberts, watermelon, 4 malic acid caps, spinach, mushrooms, avocade, carrots, asparagus, zucchini, 1/2c brazil nuts, olive oil & balsamic vinegar dressing

Friday - Day 38: I am back down another pound - total down 22lbs. I woke up happy and cheerful. Half way through I realized I was exhausted, I have dark circles under my eyes. I think I am letting go of something. A fuji apple sliced up with ripe banana is so good! I made totally raw guacamole and had some salt-free whole-grain organic blue corn chips with it... an old favorite. It was so not worth it. I much preferred the guac with cucumbers. I could really taste the veggies and enjoy it. And then I felt really, really full and heavy after. I got major indigestion much later - the papaya took care it.
