Master Cleanse Journal #2
While doing my first Master Cleanse I intuited that I need and my body wants me to do another longer cleanse. People advised me to wait a month between cleanses and I wanted to do the liver flushes - the main instigator was two gall stone attacks. I have managed to wait three weeks, do the liver flushes, eat mostly raw and really feel the benefits of the cleanse. I have kept off 23 of the 24 pounds I lost on the first cleanse and raw food. My body is telling me loud and clear that it wants this and I feel so ready that I shall begin tomorrow morning - 12/13/04. I am shooting for 60 days and will journal here daily.

Monday - Day 1: Oh, yes, the SWF... big fun, not. I tried using 'Fleur De Sel' sea salt and it does taste better, alot better. I thought today would be easier the second time around... I am cranky and craving eating. I cannot think of one item I would truly enjoy eating, but I miss the action. I know I will feel alot better in just a couple days. I will hang on, it will be worth it.
32 oz SWF, 112 oz spring water, 10 lemonades, 16 oz Smooth Move Laxative Tea

Tuesday - Day 2: I am glad yesterday is over. I got so restless. I wanted to eat!! Today feels better already. I did an enema with spring water instead of the SWF. It is quicker, but I remembered that it does not reach the small intestine as the SWF does, and that I intended to use it to deal with detoxing symptoms mostly. I do feel good. Later: I went for a walk to the PO and it was agony. Both of my feet hurt - the left arch and the right ball hurt alot. It was not fun to walk or stand. I know this is detoxing as I felt it last time, too off and on. My tongue is all white. I am hitting the sheets early. Only 58 days to go.
Enema, 128 oz water, 10 lemonades, 10 oz lax tea

Wednesday - Day 3: "Smooth Move" Tea is the way to go for sure!! NO cramping and very yummy to drink. I am so glad I tried it. I slept hard and long. I must have needed it. I feel terrific this morning and the lemonade tastes wonderful. An amazing day, I felt terrific. My feet hurt again when I went walking. I tried to hit the sheets early, but could not sleep.
32 oz SWF, 96 oz water, 8 lemonades, 16 oz lax tea

Thursday - Day 4: Again, felt pretty terrific, except for sore feet. I forgot the laxative tea.
10 oz water before SWF, 32 oz SWF, 168 oz water, 10 lemonades

Friday - Day 5: Very sleepy, lots of detoxing dreams. Feet still hurting when I walk, but otherwise I feel fine.
32 oz SWF, 96 oz water, 4 lemonades, 10 lax tea

Saturday - Day 6: I feel fine and am down a pound, the first for this cleanse. Walking is not a problem, my feet feel fine, too.
32 oz SWF, 160 oz water, 6 lemonades, 10 lax tea

Sunday - Day 7: A really wonderful day - great mood even with not enough sleep. And then later - tears, and passing of dark brown sludge - I take this as a very good sign even though it is gross and uncomfortable. Cayenne doing it's job!
160 oz water, 8 lemonades, 16 oz lax tea

Monday - Day 8: Amazing dreams about FOOD! I am down another two pounds - total 3 so far for this cleanse. Not a pleasant day - lots of detoxing which lightened up with an enema, passing more sludge and yellow stuff. Then I felt much better.
32 oz SWF, 96 oz water, 10 lemonades, 10 oz lax tea

Tuesday - Day 9: Stomach cramps first thing. SWF made it all better. I keep repeating to myself - Only 51 days to go!! I am cheering myself on.
32 oz SWF, 88 oz water, 6 lemonades, 16 oz lax tea

Wednesday - Day 10: This is the time on my last cleanse that I had to go find big inspiration to continue. I sure could use a second wind today. Nightmares, stomach cramps, needing more sleep, feeling blue - all detoxing and all leftover from last night. I am hopeful the SWF will wash it all away. No, this is not easy - but I can do it... and my body is happy, no matter what my head says.
32 oz SWF, 72oz water, 10 lemonades, 16 oz tea

Thursday - Day 11: I am down another pound, had alot of cleansing nightmares. Lots of moodiness later in the day.
32 oz SWF, 160 oz water, 6 lemonades, 16 oz tea

Friday - Day 12: I am down another 2 pounds, totallying 6 for this cleanse so far.
32 oz SWF, 160 oz water, 6 lemonades

Saturday - Day 13: Easier today.
16 oz SWF, 160 oz water, 6 lemonades, 16 oz lax tea

Sunday - Day 14: Down another 2 pounds. Okay, now I am in the deep cleansing groove - it is easy and feels really good, energy is high! An all around terrific day.
32 oz SWF, 184 oz water, 6 lemonades, 16 oz lax tea

Monday - Day 15: Rough night, with lots of nightmares. I am considering stopping the laxative tea for awhile to be able to get some good deep sleep and just let the SWF do it's work in the morning for awhile. The good news is that sorghum molasses is wonderful! Light and sweet, and a nice change form the intense flavor of blackstrap molasses and maple syrup.
32 oz SWF, 128 oz water, 8 lemonades

Tuesday - Day 16: I slept most of today, deep and with nice dreams after an early SWF and a hot shower. My period came - very early - I must be really cleaning out. I had no warnings that I was used to, no PMS, no twinges, just a face full of pimples I thought were from the cleanse yesterday. Later - I passed about a half cup of brown poop. It sank to the bottom and held it's shape - strange feeling after not eating for two weeks. Shows that the cleanse really works. I got more blackstrap molasses, I prefer molasses to just maple syrup in the lemonade.
32 oz SWF, 128 oz water, 8 lemonades, 16 oz peppermint tea and an enema at night

Wednesday - Day 17: I feel fabulous!! Cheerful in the extreme. Some mild drawing in the womb, and a few pulsing like sensations around my right kdiney. Otherwise, all is well, I practically ran while carrying 2.5 gallons of distilled water, a bunch of lemons and a couple jars of molasses. Health is 'da bomb'. ... Passed a few more solids here and there, later. More sensations on the right side above the waist, like pressure and pulsing.
96 oz water, 6 lemonades

Thursday - Day 18: My eyes have been bloodshot for a few days now, maybe a week. The ball of my right foot still hurts when I walk, and sometimes out of the blue it gets a shooting pain when I am resting or at work. My nose is still peeling, although less often, and my face is a mass of cleansing pimples. I got more sorghum molasses. Later - pressure is gall bladder, not kidney. I am having another attack, a milder one - nausea, indigestion, pressure building on the right, above the waist... So, I will dose myself with some epsom salts in hopes of passing this one, too. A bit earlier I noticed four dark brown floating round things - they could very well have been gall stones!! LOL Maybe my last flush is just kicking in! Later still: It worked, they passed as did the pain and I slept. Back to the lemonade.
32 oz SWF, 96 oz water, 8 lemonades, 16 oz ginger tea, 1 T Epsom salts in 16 oz water

Friday - Day 19: I am down three pounds today. I guess I am still a whoosher. That puts me in the double digits for this cleanse - 11 pounds. A welcome development after yesterday's drama. I am skipping the SWF today - I am already all cleaned out. I found out that a mere teaspoon might have done the job. I will try that if it happens again. And the good news is my facial skin is all calmed down and almost cleared up! Later - I went for a three hour walk and had several things happen - the right foot hurt, left shoulder had sharpish shooting pains like it used to before the first liver flush, and my left hip hurt worse than it ever has before. This would come and go with alternate blocks as I walked and walked. I bought a little plastic tub and will begin soaking my feet in epsom salts daily and see if that helps smooth the detoxing a bit as I have no bathtub.
6 lemonades, 96 oz water

Saturday - Day 20: Slept, slept and slept some more. Lots of negative thinking, tears, fatigue and more sleeping. This is all detoxing. A truly not fun day.
32 oz SWF, enema, 10 lemonades, 32 oz water and foot soak

Sunday - Day 21: Down another pound, woke feeling better. Later: Craving food like mad today, as I was last night. I went to the store to get more lemons after stopping in a church and asking for help from the Big Guy. The food smelled and looked wonderful. I almost got the same chicken soup I broke the last cleanse with, but something stopped me. I could feel how hungry I was! I realized that I am not drinking enough lemonades. So, I am going to make sure I drink 12 lemonades today, along with plenty of water. I will see how I feel tomorrow.
32 oz SWF, 96 oz water, 12 lemonades, 16 oz peppermint tea with maple syrup

Monday - Day 22: I woke feeling wonderful, so more lemonades is the ticket for me. It was a short, happy and productive day, which is why so little water intake.
32 oz SWF, 10 lemonades, 32 oz water

Tuesday - Day 23: I feel a bit more satisfied with more lemonades, but I am craving foods very strongly. Rough day, major emotional and physical detoxing symptoms - what I would call a meltdown.
32 oz SWF, 12 lemonades, 96 oz water, 16 oz peppermint tea, enema, 16 oz lax tea

Wednesday - Day 24: I slept for ten hours. I am down another pound - total 14 pounds. After alot of thinking, I came to the conclusion that I was reacting to the sharp increase of cayenne - I increased the amount of drinks and kept the same amount of pepper in each one... No wonder I was feeling so restless and craving food!! My insides were burning. I feel calm, peaceful and kinda done with the whole cleansing routine for awhile. I am eager to see where eating high raw takes me. I will journal the next couple days as I segue back onto solid food and then take it private. I hope my sillyness and dedication to truth and honestly helps other seekers of health and resurection. I still think the MC rocks and will not hesitate to do it again when I feel the need!

Thursday - Day 25: Digestion is work and takes alot of time and energy, but all is moving and grooving as it is supposed to. I am puffy from the commercial salt in the food, and am up 4 pounds as a result. It will pass on out as I settle more into fruit. Right now I am still satisfying cravings... only pizza and Olive Garden Stuffed Shells with Alfredo Sausage to go!! LOL Then papaya till the cows come home. I will go shop for some wonderful fruit - makes it easier to avoid other foods when delicious ripe fruit is at hand - and that includes avocados, tomatoes and cucmbers! Just a bit later: I was posting on one of the boards and realized that even with a full tummy I am happy! For no reason. This level of health brings with it happiness. It makes all the detoxing so worth it. This is why I did and will do the cleanse again in a couple months. Joy is totally worth cleansing to experience.
