Lillie Michelle is an Original One of a Kind Art baby doll created by Ellen Harris exclusively for Ebay. No molds were used in making any part of her. She is about 12" long. Her head, arms and legs are directly sculpted of Paperclay. Her arms go past her wrists and her legs are sculpted past the ankles. Her skin and features are painted with washes and dainty brush strokes of artist color protected by layers of resin sealer coating and have that special painted quality of rich texture, brush strokes and the odd thumbprint of the artist here and there. Her brows and eyelashes are feathered and look totally natural. Her hair is carefully applied medium brown mohair. Her body is made of cream satin trimmed with lace at neck, ankles and wrists to give her that one-see look when out of her romper. It is stuffed with poly fiber, and weighted with doll pellets to give her a cuddly body. Lillie Michelle's clothes are designed and handmade by the artist. She is wearing a cream silk romper trimmed with lace; pink silk ribbon, pink pearl buttons and pink woven trim. Her hat, trimmed with flowers, lace and ribbons, and her booties are made of cream ultra suede. Her booties are tied with silk ribbons and have vintage pink heart buttons. These are all completely removable. She is initialled and dated behind her right ear and will come with a signed certificate of authenticity.
