A little baby fairy naps sweetly on a bed of fuzzy leaves awaiting the return of her mother. Her shimmering copper colored wings glisten in the sun as she occasionally wriggles her arms and legs.
This baby is a completely unique, one of a kind, made from scratch, original sculpture. You can see photos of the earliest stages of her construction below. She is just 7 inches long from the top of her head to the tips of her toes. Her body is made from Paperclay, a strong, durable modeling material. You can see more about Paperclay on the site – Paperclay.com. Her body is weighted - she feels like a real little creature in your hand. She is jointed at the shoulder and hip. She has brown mohair hair, little pointy ears, painted lashes, full, pink lips and is anatomically a baby girl fairy. She has been finished with several layers of a polymer varnish sealer that filters UV light to protect her. Her lacy fairy wings are made of actual leaves specially treated, painted, wired and also sealed for protection. They are poseable and removable for shipment. She will come with a signed and dated certificate of authenticity with a blank space for the special name you give her.
